Monday Musings...Painted Floors (and stairs)

I saw these stairs the other day and fell in love with the idea of painting a faux stair runner! I've always loved painted floors but been afraid to "ruin" beautiful hardwood floors, so painted stairs might just be my perfect compromise (and I have a few patterns from Haymarket Designs that I'd love to try out!)

Friday Find...Nike Tempo Shorts with Patterns

Tomorrow I'm running in the Monument Avenue 10k. It's a fun run down historic Monument Avenue in Richmond, Va and was named one of the top 10 races by USA Today.



To prepare for the race, I had to get some cute new workout clothes of course! I went for my go-to Nike Tempo shorts and was happily surprised to see them in new graphic prints! Looking at the patterns you would have thought I designed them myself. Greek Key, Zebra and Stripes..oh my!

Friday Find...DVF Lattice Print Shirt

I saw this shirt the other day and fell in LOVE. The top pattern reminds be of the chippendale bamboo lattice on the chairs I just got and I love the color combination of soft pink, black and white. Think it will be one of my go to shirts with white jeans this spring!

Favorites from the Greenbrier

A few weeks ago I went to the Greenbrier in White Sulfur Springs, WV for my birthday. I had never been before and I fell in love with Dorthy Draper's big, bold, and colorful decor!!
