I recieved an e-mail from Kate Spade the other day featuring their Color of the Month, YELLOW.
I was so happy to see YELLOW because its one of my favorite colors to wear in the summer,
and I'm so ready for warm weather!
I've been eyeing Tory Burch's High Waisted Flair Jeans in Cornflower for weeks. I just love it with the chambray shirt but I'm not sure if I can pull off yellow pants. What do you think?

Crazy About Chevron
One of my favorite patterns is Chevron, aka Zig-Zag or Herringbone. I just can't get enough of it!
Anthropologie's Decorator Glossary defines Chevron as "a familiar but decidedly modern decorative pattern, in which concentric rows of triangular shaped lines are stacked and repeated to infinity".
Not surprisingly, Chevron can be found in one of my all time favorite Jonathan Adler rooms.
(I want my dining room to look like this one day! Just need a few more bamboo chairs.)
So I've compiled my top 25 LOVE list of all things Chevron!

Anthropologie Launches 'For the Decorator'
Did anyone notice that Anthropologie added a new section to their 'At Home' area of their website
last week? The new 'For the Decorator' section features tips, tools and a glossary of home
decor definitions ranging from bamboo to wool. It may just be the digital marketer in me
(my day job), but I think these interactive tools are a great way for Antrhopologie to encourage
hobbyist decorators (like me) to unleash the Jonathan Adler in them!
On the 'Tips' pages Anthro provides eight great home decorating tips for using Rugs,
Curtains, Wallpaper and Hardware. One of my favorite tips is for Wallpaper, "Choose
a vertical pattern. They help draw the eye up, giving the illusion of higher ceilings."
I love the 'Tools' section because it offers two hands-on widgets that help you create
your own hardware and bedding combinations.
The 'DIY Hardware' tool lets you select from six different furniture styles and any color
under the rainbow to recreate your furniture piece. Then you use good ole "drag and drop"
to try out any of their knobs or handles. I think this is a great way to try mix and
matching different hardware on one piece (and then easily add to your shopping cart of course).
The 'Bedding Mix & Match' tool is my favorite because it lets you create any combination of sheets and duvets to create the perfect pair. I played around with this tool for about five minutes and found several great combos I would have never have thought of before!
You can also easily order free wallpaper and fabric swatches to be sent to your house.
Lastly, the 'Glossary' is a great place to find the difference between ikat and batik and any other decorating term you may have a question about.
Anthropologie is also adding workshop-style decorator shops to eleven of its existing stores. If you are lucky enough to leave near Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Chicago, Corte Madera (CA), Denver, Houston, Miami, Nashville, New York, Wayne (PA) or Westport (CT) you can visit the store to get swatches or attend workshops with design experts. I can't wait for my next trip to NY to check it out!

With nautical still on the mind, I spied this red and navy lobster print bikini at Anthropologie and
it waslove obsession at first sight! The lobster print is so fun and playful and I love that it can
be worn as either a bandeau or a halter top.

PS- The navy and red of this bikini is very fitting for today since they are the colors of my alma mater the University of Richmond Spiders, who are playing in the Sweet 16 tonight!! Gooo SPIDERS!

All Aboard...
I love nautical inspired clothing for spring. Crisp clean lines, navy and white, stripes, sailboats, rope. What's not to love? Every year I fear that it's going to be passe, but it's one trend
that doesn't seem to want to go away!
Here are a few of my favorite nautical finds for this spring...
Sailboat Tote from Milly
Schooner Dress from Marc by Marc Jacobs
Laure Henley from Tory Burch
Maritime Dress from J.Crew
Stripe Boatneck Sweater from J.Crew
Anchors Away Dress from Madewell
Nautical Dreaming Dress from Anthropologie
Seawater Cardigan from Vineyard Vines
Slubby Stripped Roll-Up Tee, Banana Republic
Knitted Tunic from Boden
(Love the dots...a great addition to basic stripes)
Cassidie Sweater from Lilly Pulitzer
Milly went all out with a nautical them this year. I love it!
Boathouse Stripe Cardigan from Milly
Amia Sailor Boatneck Top from Milly
Stripe Tunic from Milly
Rhinestone Knot Necklace from Milly
Sardinia Wedge Espadrilles from J.Crew
Angela Adams Sea Bag from J.Crew
What do you think of the nautical trend? Love it as much as me or want to throw it overboard?

Orange + Turquoise = LOVE
Taking a look at this blog and haymarketdesigns.com, I'm sure it doesn't comes as a surprise that I love ORANGE + TURQUOISE! Together they create such a cheery, fresh and fun look that I can't resist. My favorite mix is a medium orange (a la Tory Burch) and a light seafoamy turquoise (a la Tiffany), but really I'll take any color variation!
Here are some of my favorite Orange and Turquoise rooms...
