All the buildings in New York

A few months ago I heard about Australian artist James Gulliver's attempt to draw all the
buildings in New York City. He started his adventure last April and has been sharing his
work on his blog, ALL THE BUILDINGS IN NEW YORK.

Every few weeks I check back to see if he has by chance drawn one of my old apartment
buildings or offices, but no luck yet! He has come close a few times though...

Spring Cleaning and Closet Dreaming

I did some Spring cleaning and put away all my winter clothes this weekend. I just couldn't stand to look at my dark winter clothes another week so I hope it doesn't get cold again!

Trying to organize everything in my little closet reminded me of how badly I want a walk-in-closet (or room!) in my new house. If I could design my dream closet it would have...

Friday Find...Chinoiserie Bar at Pottery Barn

I love Pottery Barn, don't get me wrong, but I was shocked to find this very chic chinoiserie bar in the latest catalog. Its delicate Chinese Chippendale style curves seem to defy everything that Pottery Barn stands for... and I love every bit of it! From the fretwork, to the circular wine racks, this piece has all the touches of a vintage chinoiserie find. Now if only it had a flea market price tag to match!

Apartment Crush: UES New York

I'm sure many of you have seen the latest and greatest edition of Matchbook Magazine by now.
If you haven't you must check it out!

I can't stop thinking about the New York apartment of 23 year old Alixe Laughlin, that was featured in "The Bahamas Meets New York". In four words... it's to die for! Having a job at Quadrille Couture definitely comes in handy when it comes to having such a chic first apartment. I'm so jealous!




It makes me think of my first apartment shoebox on the Upper East Side, that my roommate and I thought was pretty cute considering our penniless bank accounts, but now pales in comparison.

I love this mirrored coffee table and touch of orange!



The faux bamboo console is definitely going on my wish list! And I love the lucite lamps from one of my favorite stores, Circa Who, in Palm Beach.



The Quadrille Saya Gatta Wallpaper adds just the right amount of color to a boring hallway.



She does a great job of mix and matching lots of different prints without loooking too busy.
